Dien Chau voters: The quality of preschool education still has many shortcomings.

(Baonghean.vn) - The shortage of schools and classrooms, and the fact that the quality of preschool education does not meet the requirements, are the concerns raised by voters in Dien Chau to the provincial People's Council representatives.

After hearing the provincial People's Council representatives announce the results of the 4th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council, voters highly appreciated the session for its many innovations and the fact that many issues of concern to voters were discussed and questioned by the representatives to relevant agencies and departments.

In a meeting with provincial People's Council representatives, voter Cao Thi Sau from Dien Thanh commune suggested that all levels and sectors should pay attention to education, especially preschool education. Ms. Sau cited the example of Dien Thanh commune, a rural area, where a shortage of schools means parents have to wait day and night to submit applications for their children's preschool enrollment, with limited vacancies and high demand.As a result, many children are unable to attend the local preschool.

We propose that all levels of government should study and develop a roadmap for investing in and building more schools to ensure that children of school age can attend school.

Also related to the field of education, voter Nguyen Van Dieu from Dien Thanh commune said: The issue of extra tutoring has been widely reported, but it remains rampant and unregulated, putting pressure on parents and students. He suggested that the government should research and consider managing extra tutoring. Mr. Dieu also expressed concern about the quality of preschool education, noting many shortcomings in terms of facilities and teacher quality that do not meet requirements.

Voter Tran Dang Hoi from Hamlet 3, Dien Thanh Commune, believes that the State needs to have policies to manage transportation businesses. Mr. Hoi cited recent incidents involving buses, which were caused by speeding and competing for passengers, as examples, causing great anxiety and fear among the public when using this mode of transportation.

"I think the government needs to tighten control over bus operations, ensuring traffic safety for citizens, especially by managing the drivers' licenses," Mr. Hoi suggested.

Regarding agricultural production, voter Hoang Van Minh from Dien Thanh suggested that the government should provide initial support to stimulate production for farmers. According to Mr. Minh, the slow implementation of support policies for farmers, especially those related to losses from natural disasters, has eroded public trust. He proposed that if the government provides support policies, they should be implemented promptly so that people can resume production.

Regarding the activities of People's Councils at all levels, voter Dau Minh Chau from Dien Thanh commune stated that although People's Councils at all levels have issued many resolutions, they have not been implemented effectively, and the content of some resolutions remains too general. Mr. Chau suggested that, to improve the effectiveness of voter consultation, dialogues should be held in each region and area, thereby creating a more effective and widespread impact of the resolutions of the Councils at all levels.

Sharing the same viewpoint, voter Ngo Quoc Vinh from Dien Thanh commune stated: "The issue that voters are concerned about is the legitimate suggestions and proposals of voters being conveyed by the People's Councils at all levels to the relevant agencies for resolution. Therefore, we hope that the representatives, with their functions and duties, will pay attention to and thoroughly resolve the issues that voters have raised, thereby building trust between voters and state agencies," Mr. Vinh said.

In addition, many voters raised concerns about compensation for rural power grids, scattered investment projects, prolonged construction times, poor quality, environmental pollution in rural areas, strengthening food safety management, attention to policies for those who have rendered meritorious services to the revolution, cadre rotation, land policies, etc.

The voters' suggestions were clarified and explained by Ms. Cao Thi Hien, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, along with relevant departments and agencies of Dien Chau district. At the same time, the Provincial People's Council received and compiled the suggestions and forwarded them to the relevant agencies and departments for prompt response and resolution for the voters.
