Voters in Con Cuong district have submitted numerous petitions to their National Assembly representatives.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of May 6th, a meeting between National Assembly representatives and voters in Chi Khe commune took place in Con Cuong district, prior to the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly.
Attending the meeting were delegates including: Hoang Minh Hieu - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Law Committee; Tran Nhat Minh - Member of the National Assembly's Law Committee, full-time National Assembly delegate from Nghe An province; and representatives from the leadership of various departments, agencies, and Con Cuong district.
On behalf of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, delegate Hoang Minh Hieu reported to the voters of Chi Khe commune on the expected content and program of the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly and related issues.
At the conference, 17 opinions were raised by voters regarding social policies, agriculture, land, and infrastructure.
Accordingly, voters in Chi Khe commune requested the Provincial People's Committee to approve the construction of an embankment to prevent landslides in residential and agricultural land in the Bai Phang area, Thuy Khe village (behind the Bai Oi suspension bridge). Voters in Bai Oi village, Lam Khe commune, requested the construction of a traffic route (7B) from Thanh Dao hamlet, Bong Khe commune to Bai Oi hamlet - Lam Khe hamlet, Chi Khe commune. This is a major route for transporting raw materials, with high traffic volume, creating conditions for economic development in the left bank area and reducing traffic congestion across the Bai Oi suspension bridge.
In their petition to the National Assembly representatives, voters in Nam Son village continued to raise concerns about the area of production forest land allocated to households under Decree 163. They pointed out that the land is primarily degraded forest with no value, yet the records indicate it is designated for regeneration and cultivation. Therefore, the voters requested that higher authorities investigate, inspect, and accurately assess the current situation, and develop solutions to adjust the planning so that people can convert the land for forest planting to develop their economy.
Furthermore, voters in Chi Khe commune also suggested that the State should have a policy to support the provision of health insurance for eligible individuals (demobilized soldiers); proposed amendments and additions to the law on policies supporting the purchase of health insurance for members of middle-income households; and requested that relevant agencies continue to provide housing support policies for people with meritorious service, as some individuals are currently not receiving this support.
Voters requested that authorities at all levels expedite the process of issuing new and renewed land use right certificates; some people also expressed concerns about their rights when the administrative units of Tien Thanh village and Bong Khe commune were merged into Con Cuong town,...
At the conference, representatives from the government and relevant agencies from the commune and district levels to provincial departments and National Assembly delegates explained and clarified the voters' recommendations. The Nghe An Provincial National Assembly Delegation will compile the voters' recommendations and forward them to the competent authorities for consideration, resolution, and response in accordance with regulations and at National Assembly forums.
