Voters in Nghia Dan district raised many pressing social issues with their National Assembly representatives.

The conference listened to 18 opinions from voters, many of which concerned land issues.

On the morning of April 15th, National Assembly delegates Tran Duc Thuan - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Committee on National Defense and Security; and Vi Van Son - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion of Nghe An province, held a meeting with voters in Nghia Hong commune, Nghia Dan district.

Also attending the conference were leaders from the Departments of Construction, Interior, Health, Agriculture and Environment, and Nghia Dan district.

At the conference, on behalf of the National Assembly delegates, delegate Vi Van Son announced the planned program and content of the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly; and the results of responding to and resolving the petitions of voters in Nghia Dan district.

The 9th session of the 15th National Assembly is scheduled to open on May 5th. The National Assembly will consider amendments and additions to the 2013 Constitution, and is expected to pass 30 laws and 7 resolutions across various fields. These include a resolution on merging provincial-level administrative units to streamline the apparatus and specific mechanisms and policies to address obstacles to socio-economic development in key sectors and localities. At the conference, voter Ho Manh Hung, head of Hong Binh hamlet, Nghia Hong commune, raised several issues regarding land management at Co Do State Farm. According to Mr. Hung, Co Do State Farm is currently slow in completing land allocation contracts under Decree 168/2016/ND-CP, and there are instances of land being allocated to ineligible recipients. Voters requested that the leadership of Co Do State Farm clarify and explain these long-standing concerns to the people.

Voter Khuc Thi Luu, Secretary of the Hong Truong hamlet Party branch in Nghia Hong commune, stated that currently, 18 households and individuals in Nghia Hong commune are affected by the project to grow fodder crops for dairy cattle. According to directives from the Provincial People's Committee and the Nghia Dan District People's Committee, these households and individuals will receive support for training, career chuyển đổi, and job placement after the State reclaims the land, as per Decision No. 33/2024/QD-UBND dated September 30, 2024, of the Nghe An Provincial People's Committee. However, to date, the people have not received this support. Therefore, we respectfully request that the authorities at all levels promptly resolve this issue for the people.

Many voters also reflected on some difficulties in issuing land ownership certificates for land originating from agricultural and forestry farms; proposed a health insurance scheme for the relatives of militia and self-defense forces; proposed cemetery construction planning; issues related to the power grid; tutoring and supplementary education; benefits for meritorious individuals;...

Based on the opinions and feedback of voters, the leaders of Co Do State Farm and Nghia Dan district have directly responded to and explained a number of issues within their jurisdiction.

On behalf of the National Assembly delegates, delegate Tran Duc Thuan received and clarified some opinions from voters in Nghia Dan district within his authority and compiled feedback from voters related to other issues to be sent to the National Assembly delegation of Nghe An province.
