Voters in Quynh Tam have raised many practical issues at the grassroots level.
On the afternoon of September 30th, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quynh Tam commune organized a meeting to engage with voters and National Assembly deputies of the 16th term before the second session of the 16th National Assembly.
Attending the conference were National Assembly delegates elected in constituency No. 5, including Mr. Pham Phu Binh, a full-time National Assembly delegate at the National Assembly's Committee on National Defense, Security and Foreign Affairs; Ms. Thai Thi An Chung, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; and Ms. Phan Thi Nguyet Thu, Chief Justice of the Provincial People's Court. Also present were representatives from the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, several provincial departments and agencies; leaders of Quynh Tam commune; and a large number of voters in the area.

At the conference, voters in Quynh Tam commune frankly raised many opinions and suggestions directly related to people's lives and the socio-economic development of the locality. Among these, land issues were of particular concern to many voters. Voters requested that relevant authorities promptly resolve the situation where some areas of reclaimed land have not yet been granted land use rights certificates; provide solutions for exchanging and completing land records for the people; and strengthen inspection and handling of land encroachment and encroachment on traffic corridors. Voters also requested that the handling of administrative procedures and people's requests be carried out promptly, minimizing delays.

In agricultural production, voters reflected that the prices of some agricultural products, especially rice, remain low while the costs of supplies, seeds, fertilizers, and labor are increasing. Therefore, they requested that the State implement appropriate support policies for producers; develop and replicate effective economic models; support product output; and create conditions for farmers to invest confidently in production. Regarding livestock farming, voters requested attention to supporting breeding stock, capital, and appropriate policies to promote the economic development of households.

Regarding the consequences of natural disasters, voters reflected that recent heavy rains and floods have caused damage to agricultural production, livestock farming, and aquaculture, leaving many households in difficulty. Voters requested that all levels and sectors review and fully assess the extent of the damage, and promptly implement support policies to help people restore production and stabilize their lives.

Following the merger of villages and hamlets, voters have reported that some villages have large areas and dense populations, while the facilities at community centers are still lacking, especially tables, chairs, and equipment for community activities. In addition, the workload of officials, the Front Committee, and other forces in the villages is increasing, but operating funds remain limited. Voters request that all levels of government pay attention to investing in infrastructure, supplementing equipment, and providing appropriate support mechanisms so that villages and hamlets, especially those in remote areas, can effectively carry out their tasks.
Regarding infrastructure, voters requested attention to investing in, repairing, and upgrading dilapidated transportation routes to meet the needs of people's travel, trade, and daily life, while also creating conditions to promote socio-economic development in the locality.

Voters have reported that some remote schools still face difficulties in terms of infrastructure. They request that relevant authorities pay attention to investing in, repairing, and upgrading these schools. Voters also request attention to enrollment quotas for high schools, creating opportunities for students in the area to continue their education; and a review of actual needs to study the possibility of opening more schools and classrooms. Furthermore, solutions are needed to ensure a sufficient supply of textbooks from the beginning of the school year, preventing situations where students lack books and negatively impact their learning.
At the conference, representatives from relevant departments and agencies, along with leaders of Quynh Tam commune, exchanged views, answered questions, and clarified many issues within their jurisdiction, focusing on land issues, agricultural production, disaster relief support, infrastructure, transportation, and education.
On behalf of the National Assembly delegation, Ms. Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation - received the opinions and suggestions of the voters. The opinions expressed at the meeting stemmed from the practical realities of people's lives and production, and the National Assembly delegation will fully compile them and forward them to the relevant authorities for consideration and resolution. For issues falling under the jurisdiction of the Central Government, the delegation will compile them, report them at the National Assembly session, and forward them to the relevant agencies for consideration and handling according to regulations.
