Voters in Thai Hoa district suggest that the government should control prices when wages are increased.
Voters in Hoa Hieu ward, Thai Hoa town, expressed their joy at the salary increase for officials, civil servants, and workers. However, this increase is accompanied by the constant worry of rising prices for gasoline, food, education, healthcare, and essential goods.
On the morning of July 2nd, National Assembly delegates from constituency number 2, including Major General Tran Duc Thuan - Standing Member of the National Assembly's Committee on National Defense and Security; and Vi Van Son - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Ethnic Affairs Committee, met with voters in Hoa Hieu ward, Thai Hoa town.
The conference was attended by representatives from various departments and agencies, as well as leaders from Thai Hoa town.

After hearing the National Assembly representatives inform them of the important results of the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly, as well as the activities of the provincial National Assembly representatives at the session, voters in Hoa Hieu ward acknowledged and highly appreciated the activities of the National Assembly and the provincial National Assembly delegation for their contributions to the success of the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly. The delegation's contributions were practical, high-quality, and demonstrated responsibility to the voters and the people.

At the conference, 11 voters from Hoa Hieu ward expressed their thoughts and aspirations to the National Assembly representatives on various issues.
Voter Ho Cong Chinh raised the issue of the Party's cadre rotation program. This is one of the practical stages of cadre training and development; through rotation, cadres have the opportunity and environment to train, strive, mature, and develop more quickly and comprehensively. However, many cadres are rotated for short periods. Therefore, their abilities are not fully assessed. He suggested that cadre rotation should have a roadmap and timeframe to properly evaluate cadre capabilities.

According to voter Ho Cong Chinh, at the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly, the amended Social Insurance Law, recently passed by the National Assembly, added a provision that Vietnamese citizens aged 75 and above who do not receive a pension or social insurance benefits will be entitled to a social retirement allowance. This is a humane policy that voters are interested in. However, voters hope that the State will continue to pay attention to those who previously worked for decades at the grassroots level but have not yet received a retirement allowance.

Voter Nguyen Van Anh, Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Hoa Hieu Ward, proposed that the National Assembly consider the specific retirement age for women. She suggested lowering the retirement age for women, and considering earlier retirement options for professions such as early childhood education and hazardous work, such as 5-10 year earlier retirement.
Voter Nguyen Van Quynh, Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Hoa Hieu Ward, expressed the joy of civil servants and workers at receiving salary increases. However, this is accompanied by the constant worry of rising prices for gasoline, food, education, healthcare, and essential goods. This voter proposed that the National Assembly strengthen its oversight of the implementation of the 2013 Price Law related to price stabilization. He also suggested that the government implement measures to control gasoline and food prices and inflation when both the basic salary and minimum wage increase from July 1st.
Voter Nguyen Thi Binh, a cultural officer in Hoa Hieu ward, reflected that Vietnam is currently facing major population challenges due to the rapid aging of the population and the increasing gender imbalance at birth. She requested that the Ministry of Health research and propose amendments to the population policy to address these current issues.
"In addition, given the situation where many cosmetic service businesses operate without licenses from competent authorities, engage in deceptive advertising, and offer services beyond their permitted scope… posing potential risks to the health and lives of customers, voters suggest that the Ministry of Health strengthen its guidance on the management of cosmetic service businesses," voter Nguyen Thi Binh raised the issue.
Some voters in Hoa Hieu ward proposed a system of allowances for holding multiple positions such as Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of the People's Council; recruitment and staffing of teachers; a nursing care system for meritorious individuals; and job creation for workers, etc.
