Thai Hoa voters reflect many shortcomings related to projects in the area.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 29, the 15th National Assembly Delegation met with voters in Long Son ward, Thai Hoa town before the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly, recording 22 opinions.
The National Assembly delegation of constituency No. 2 includes comrades: Tran Duc Thuan - Standing member of the National Assembly's Committee for National Defense and Security; Vi Van Son - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Ethnic Committee. Also attending were representatives of the leaders of Thai Hoa Town, Long Son Ward and a large number of voters.
At the conference, delegate Tran Duc Thuan - Standing member of the National Assembly's Committee for National Defense and Security informed voters about the expected content of the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly, taking place from October 23 to November 29, 2023. Accordingly, the National Assembly will pass 9 draft laws, 2 draft resolutions, and give opinions on 8 other draft laws; at the same time, consider and decide on socio-economic issues, the state budget and supervise other important issues.
Voters have reported many shortcomings related to projects in the area. Voter Nguyen Ngoc Huy - Intermediate Block expressed his indignation about the Vuc Giong - Khe Son road project in the town, passing through Long Son ward. Construction started in 2006, after 17 years, this road has seriously degraded even though it has not been opened. This not only wastes the budget but also makes it difficult for people to travel, posing many potential traffic safety risks. Voters suggested that a final solution should be found soon to overcome the consequences of this project.
Regarding the Ban Mong canal system (in Long Son ward), voter Le Quang Bong said that the project is wasteful and ineffective. Although this issue has been raised many times, voters have not received a proper answer that is consistent with reality.
Voter Le Minh Duc - Secretary of the Intermediate Block Party Cell said that Long Son Ward is located in a low-lying area, so during the rainy season, flooding often occurs, affecting the lives and activities of the people. Meanwhile, the drainage system in the area is not operating effectively, so voters recommend that solutions should be found soon so that people can feel secure during this rainy season.
In addition, voters also reflected on the deterioration of traffic roads; environmental pollution in residential areas; land-related issues; policies for certain groups; extra teaching and learning...
After listening to voters' opinions, representatives of Thai Hoa town, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs discussed and answered a number of issues within their authority that voters reflected.
On behalf of the National Assembly delegates, Comrade Vi Van Son - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Head of the Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee, recorded the voters' reflections and recommendations, then forwarded them to competent authorities for research and resolution.
