Voters in mountainous communes have raised concerns about shortcomings in the poverty assessment process.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 3rd, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Minh - Chairman of the Nghe An Veterans Association, and a representative of the Nghe An Provincial People's Council, 17th term, 2016-2021, met with voters in Tho Hop commune (Quy Hop district) after the 6th session.

During the conference, voters from Tho Hop commune (Quy Hop district) raised several issues that need attention and resolution, such as: supporting the construction of a bridge for the people of Son Tien hamlet; expediting the process of issuing land use right certificates to the people of Thung Khang hamlet; the slow pace of reviewing and awarding resistance medals and decorations; inadequacies in the poverty assessment process; and consideration for allowing people in Tho Hop commune to receive health insurance coverage for medical examinations and treatment at the Northwest Regional General Hospital…

Regarding the suggestions and proposals from voters that fall within the jurisdiction of the Quy Hop District People's Committee, the leaders have directly addressed them. Some issues within Mr. Nguyen Dinh Minh's authority have been directly explained, while many others beyond his authority, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Minh promised to compile fully for submission to the Provincial People's Council for consideration, resolution, and response at the next session.
