Cua Lo will build a night market and a food market.
(Baonghean.vn) - Providing stronger support to Cua Lo in tourism promotion, connecting tour routes and travel agencies, and investing in the construction of night markets and food markets are important contents that the Department of Tourism agreed upon with Cua Lo town during a working session on the afternoon of January 18, 2017.
The meeting was chaired by the Director of the Department of Tourism, Nguyen Manh Cuong, and the Secretary of the Cua Lo Town Party Committee, Nguyen Nam Dinh.

At the meeting, Cua Lo town also made groundbreaking proposals such as: requesting the Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments, especially the Department of Tourism, to help Cua Lo upgrade its annual tourism festival to a provincial-level event; connecting with the ADB to invest in a coastal promenade and Mai Thuc Loan road project; supporting the town in connecting with travel agencies in other provinces to bring tourists to Cua Lo; supporting the town in developing unique souvenir products; and providing support for the town in promoting tourism, connecting with and attracting businesses to invest in entertainment projects, high-end accommodation, and cruise services on the Cam and Lam rivers.
The Department of Tourism has made statements and proposals, particularly outlining the immediate actions that Cua Lo needs to implement in 2017 to better fulfill its recommendations. These include: the need for better state management of tourism; the early construction and implementation of a night market and food market area to provide tourists with entertainment and recreation at night; innovation in promotional and advertising methods; specific coordination with the Provincial Tourism Association regarding inviting tour groups to Cua Lo to sign agreements on transporting tourists; and focusing on developing and implementing new activities and entertainment venues to attract visitors.

The town of Cua Lo affirms its determination to innovate and create commemorative activities worthy of the 110th anniversary of Cua Lo tourism, including holding a press conference in Cua Lo around March 2017. Emphasis will be placed on developing and implementing cultural, artistic, and sports activities to attract tourists, such as: organizing the art program "Love Song of the Pisces" associated with the opening of Vinpearl Cua Hoi, the "Singing of the Tourism Industry" program, and the "Connecting Hands of the Sea" exchange with national television stations; organizing traditional boat races, the Cua Lo Open beach golf tournament, and beach volleyball tournaments; and coordinating with telecommunications companies to promote Cua Lo tourism on mobile phones.

It is expected that this year's Cua Lo Tourism Festival will be hosted by Thanh Nien Newspaper and will be broadcast live on VTV1 or VTV3 of Vietnam Television on the evening of April 29, 2017, one day earlier than in previous years.
