Cua Lo has built 15 shower facilities along the beach to serve tourists.
In mid-March 2026, preparations for the 2026 beach tourism season were underway at Cua Lo beach. Along the coastline, numerous teams of workers were busy constructing and installing freshwater shower facilities to serve locals and tourists in the coming period.
According to reporters, many areas along Cua Lo beach are under construction these days, with shower posts being installed and infrastructure being completed. Workers are busy from early morning, installing shower posts, connecting water supply pipes, and checking water pressure for trial operation. These steps are being implemented simultaneously to ensure the shower system can operate stably as soon as the beach tourism season begins.

According to information from the Department of Economy, Infrastructure and Urban Development of Cua Lo Ward, for the 2026 tourist season, the locality will build 15 new shower facilities along the beach through a socialized investment model. Each facility will have an area of approximately 500 m², equipped with various amenities for tourists such as shower areas, changing rooms, public toilets, and a comprehensive water supply and drainage system.

Specifically, each shower station will be equipped with 12 shower columns, each approximately 2.2 meters high and featuring 4 showerheads. Thus, each station will have a total of 48 freshwater showerheads. In addition, each shower station will also have 15 changing rooms, public restrooms, and other supporting facilities to provide convenience for residents and tourists.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Cua Lo Ward, said that the local government is requesting construction units to mobilize maximum manpower and equipment to accelerate the progress of the projects. “We aim to complete the entire shower system before April 20th, in time to serve this year's beach tourism season. This is one of the projects aimed at improving service quality and creating more convenience for residents and tourists visiting Cua Lo,” Mr. Hung said.

According to local leaders, these shower facilities are designed to be more integrated, modern, and sustainable, with a carefully calculated water supply and drainage system to ensure stable operation in coastal weather conditions. At the same time, the placement of shower facilities along the beach has been studied for optimal distribution, making them easily accessible to tourists without having to travel too far after swimming.
It is known that during the 2025 tourist season, when Cua Lo beach was still part of the former Vinh City, the local authorities implemented freshwater shower facilities for the first time to serve tourists. This was considered a new development in improving the quality of beach tourism services, making it convenient for tourists to shower after swimming in the sea.

However, after the 2025 rainy season, many facilities at the shower areas were severely damaged by strong winds, waves, and high tides. Many shower pillars were broken, and the pipe systems were washed away or deteriorated, rendering the facilities unusable.
In light of this situation, this year the local authorities decided to invest in rebuilding a new, larger-scale, and more robustly designed and standardized system of shower facilities to serve the long term. Investing in this shower system will not only improve the quality of tourism services but also contribute to building the image of a civilized, friendly, and professional tourist city.

Along with installing shower facilities, Cua Lo ward has also been focusing on beautifying the beach, improving environmental sanitation, upgrading service infrastructure, and strengthening tourism management. These efforts are expected to contribute to creating a new look for the coastal town, ready to welcome a large number of tourists during the 2026 beach tourism season.
