Providing family planning services in 5 communes with high birth rates.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 13th, in Quynh Trang commune, the Population and Family Planning Sub-Department organized a communication program and provided services on reproductive health care/family planning.

This activity is part of the "Plan for organizing communication activities and providing services on Population - Reproductive Health Care in special communes and areas with high birth rates in 2016". Specifically in September 2016, the program was implemented in two phases in six communes: Quynh Trang and Quynh Vinh (Hoang Mai Town) and Tien Thuy, Son Hai, Quynh Giang, and Quynh Thanh (Quynh Luu District).

Despite the rain, many people from Quynh Trang commune came to register for the program from early morning.

These are all communes with high birth rates and where people's lives are still difficult. Here, in addition to examinations, consultations, and medication, the Population and Family Planning Service Center and the Population Sub-Department also provide free services such as transvaginal ultrasound, general ultrasound, IUD insertion, implantation, and contraceptive injections. The total cost of the program is nearly 250 million VND.
