The lives of television professionals through authentic camera angles.

On December 17th, as part of the 35th National Television Festival, an exhibition of photographs themed "People Working in Television" opened in Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province.

The exhibition displayed 142 selected works from nearly 200 entries in the "People Working in Television" photo contest from over 100 organizations. The judging panel selected 10 outstanding works to award prizes, including one first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes, and four consolation prizes.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Le Khanh Hoa, Director of Quang Binh Radio and Television Station and Head of the photo exhibition organizing committee, said that it was encouraging that, in addition to the majority of works being documentary and journalistic in nature, some works have gone beyond random reflection and ordinary recording to approach photographic art with meticulous attention to light, camera angles, composition, and lines.

The captions and explanations for each photograph have also been carefully selected and refined by the authors to make the subject matter of the images more concise and meaningful.

The photographs displayed at the exhibition depicted portraits of television journalists at major political and current affairs events at home and abroad, at television interactive events, and reflected the behind-the-scenes lives of television journalists. At the same time, they showcased the hardships and difficulties they faced while working in remote areas, border regions, and islands.

The photographs capture the overflowing emotions of television journalists in the face of the endearing beauty of the people and homeland of Vietnam, along with their love and experiences in the profession. Through this exhibition, the organizers hope that the public will gain a better understanding of the work and the personalities of television professionals nationwide.

The photo contest and exhibition received enthusiastic participation from a large number of reporters, editors, technicians, and television professionals, with rich and diverse content reflecting the comprehensive and authentic view of the activities of the television industry nationwide.

The winning entries from the photo contest will be awarded prizes at the closing ceremony of the 35th National Television Festival, which will take place on the evening of December 19th.
