People's Artist Quoc Truong was the first person to play the Jade Emperor in the first episode of the "Tao Quan" program in 2003. With his natural and majestic acting style, he laid the foundation for this character before Meritorious Artist Quoc Khanh took over permanently.

In real life, People's Artist Quoc Truong is currently the Director of the Army Drama Theatre with the rank of Colonel. He has an admirable married life with his much younger wife, who is also an artist. Although he once intended not to marry someone in the same profession, the male artist broke his vow to build a happy family with his two children.
