The Miss Universe Vietnam competition returned in 2017.

The national beauty pageant will begin recruiting contestants on December 1st to find the beauty queen who will represent Vietnam at Miss Universe 2017-2018.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just granted permission to organize the Miss Universe Vietnam competition in 2017. Preliminary activities for the competition will begin early next year. The grand finale is scheduled to take place on August 19, 2017, at the Hoan Vu stage in Nha Trang.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Nhat, representing the organizing committee, stated: “Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 will choose a beauty who is both sensual and strong to crown. TThe new beauty queen will represent Vietnam and compete with contestants from over 100 countries and territories at the Miss Universe 2017-2018 competition.

This is the third season of Miss Universe Vietnam. Previously, the competition crowned Pham Huong (in 2015) and Thuy Lam (in 2008).
