Miss Universe Vietnam pageant returns in 2017

The national beauty event will recruit contestants from December 1 to find the beauty to represent the country in the Miss Universe 2017-2018 contest.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just licensed the Miss Universe Vietnam contest in 2017. The sideline activities of the contest will start early next year. The final night is expected to take place on August 19, 2017 at the Hoan Vu stage, Nha Trang.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Nhat - representative of the organizing committee - said: "Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 will choose a sexy and strong beauty to crown. At the same time, that person must be someone who has the ability to inspire and positively influence the community. We expect this criterion to create a difference and attract attention to the contest."

TThe beauty queen will represent the country's beauty to compete with contestants from more than 100 countries and territories at the Miss Universe 2017-2018 contest.

This is the third season of Miss Universe Vietnam. Previously, the contest crowned Pham Huong (in 2015) and Thuy Lam (in 2008).
