The 'My Connection with China' 2025 contest has launched.
To commemorate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China, VTV Times and the Chinese Cultural Center in Hanoi are launching a writing competition with 100 prizes.
VTV Times, in collaboration with the Chinese Cultural Center in Hanoi, has officially launched a writing and storytelling competition with the theme "My Connection with China" for 2025. The event is organized to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China, and to support the "Vietnam-China Humanistic Exchange Year".
The competition is a meaningful activity that contributes to promoting cultural exchange, enhancing understanding, and strengthening friendly relations between the people of the two countries.
Two main themes for composition
The organizers said that immediately after its launch on November 11th, the competition received many entries with diverse content. Authors could choose to create works based on two main themes:
- Heartwarming moments from my journey of encountering China.
- Modernizing China through my eyes.
The entries can include stories and shared memories from people-to-people exchanges between the two countries, or diverse perspectives on China's development achievements and the results of bilateral cooperation.
Instructions for participating in the competition
Interested individuals and organizations can submit entries in various forms such as text, images, or other art forms.
Submission deadline
The organizers will accept entries from November 11, 2025 to November 30, 2025.
How to submit your entry
Entries can be submitted to the Organizing Committee through one of the following two methods:
- Via email:Send to address[email protected]The email subject line should clearly state: "Participating in the 'My Connection with China' Contest".
- By mail:Send to the address: VTV Times - 43 Nguyen Chi Thanh Street, Giang Vo District, Hanoi. On the envelope, clearly write: "Participation in the 'My Connection with China' Contest".
Prize structure and summary
The competition will offer a total of 100 prizes for outstanding entries. The awards ceremony is scheduled to be held in December 2025. Detailed information regarding the competition rules will be continuously updated by the Organizing Committee.
