The "Connection with China" contest attracted hundreds of entries.
Just 10 days after its launch, the writing contest "My Connection with China" has received hundreds of diverse entries, demonstrating great public interest.
The 2025 writing and storytelling contest "My Connection with China" has received a strong public response, with hundreds of entries submitted in just 10 days after its launch (from November 11th), according to the Organizing Committee. This number demonstrates the contest's widespread appeal and the growing interest in promoting cultural exchange between Vietnam and China.

Diversity in the submitted works
The entries were diverse in genre, including essays, poems, videos, photographs, and artworks such as paintings. According to the Organizing Committee, many works not only shared simple, emotionally rich personal stories but also demonstrated artistic investment and compelling storytelling abilities.
With two open themes, the competition encouraged participants to share personal experiences, heartwarming memories, or perspectives on the development of modern China. This intimacy became a source of inspiration for many authors who enthusiastically wrote and submitted their entries very early, making an impression with their positive messages and sincere emotions.
Multigenerational involvement
One notable aspect is the diverse range of participants in the competition, coming from all ages and social backgrounds. From students and young people who love Chinese culture to tourists and international students, everyone enthusiastically participated. This large turnout contributed to strengthening understanding and fostering closer ties between the people of the two countries.

The significance of commemorating 75 years of diplomatic relations.
The competition was organized by VTV Times in collaboration with the Chinese Cultural Center in Hanoi. This is one of the meaningful activities leading up to 2025, the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China.
This event is also part of the "Vietnam-China Humanistic Exchange Year," aiming to further deepen the humanistic ties between the two countries. The Organizing Committee hopes to continue receiving many unique and emotionally rich works in the future.
