The entire National Highway 48B route passing through Son Hai commune is 2 km long. After the National Highway expansion and upgrade project is implemented, from the center of the road to the edge of the corridor, there are about 100 households along the National Highway whose land, shops, kiosks, and corrugated iron roofs will be affected and need to be cleared and dismantled in accordance with State regulations.
To ensure the rights of the people, Son Hai commune has established a steering committee to measure, inventory and finalize the compensation price for assets. Up to now, 100% of households have signed to receive compensation, but they still deliberately delay encroaching on the National Highway corridor, refusing to remove, trim the corrugated iron roofs, and goods kiosks to return the road to a clear and airy sidewalk.

Propaganda and mobilization of people to voluntarily remove and strictly comply with road traffic laws; resolutely enforce against households that still have acts of resistance" - Mr. Tran Van Hung - Chairman of Son Hai commune People's Committee said.
