On its homepage, Becamex Binh Duong announced that the team has parted ways with assistant coach Tran Duc Cuong. This came as quite a surprise to football experts and fans in Binh Duong.
At the beginning of this season, Tran Duc Cuong returned to Go Dau Stadium to take on the role of goalkeeping coach for Becamex Binh Duong. Over the past period, the goalkeeper born in 1985 has made a significant contribution to the overall success of the team in the Southeast region.
Reportedly, Tran Duc Cuong's next destination is Bac Ninh Club. Currently, the head coach of the Second Division team is Hoang Anh Tuan, the strategist who parted ways with Becamex Binh Duong a few months ago.
In the past, Tran Duc Cuong spent eight seasons playing for Becamex Binh Duong. At Go Dau Stadium, the goalkeeper from Vinh City, Nghe An province, achieved considerable success, most notably winning the National Cup in 2018.
