(Baonghean.vn) - To prepare for the new season, the Hai Phong Club's management has decided to appoint Coach Ngo Quang Truong as the new head coach, after Coach Truong Viet Hoang parted ways with the team at Lach Tray Stadium at the end of this season.
During the past season, the strategist nicknamed Truong "the Buffalo" served as the Technical Director of Hai Phong Club, seconded from SLNA. It seemed the "relationship" between the Hai Phong team and Coach Ngo Quang Truong had ended, as the coach, born in 1972, returned to his hometown to continue working with youth development at the Nghe An team's academy.

According to information obtained by Nghe An Newspaper, the Hai Phong Club's leadership has decided to entrust the "hot seat" to coach Ngo Quang Truong. Thus, after more than 3 years since leaving SLNA, the former midfielder of the Vietnam National Team has "reappeared" as the head coach of a team in the V.League.
Accompanying coach Ngo Quang Truong to Hai Phong this time is former SLNA assistant coach Pham Anh Tuan. In the past, Pham Anh Tuan was a valuable "right-hand man" to coach Ngo Quang Truong at the Nghe An team during the 2015 and 2016 seasons.
