Rescue efforts underway for 5 fishing boats that caught fire in Quynh Phu at dawn.
The fire, which broke out at just after 3 a.m. on August 15, caused significant damage to five fishing boats in the waters off Quynh Phu.
According to information from the Quỳnh Thuận Border Guard Station's rescue team, at approximately 3:40 AM on August 15th, a fishing boat caught fire in Tân An village, Quỳnh Phú commune.

The fire caused serious damage to five fishing boats.
Immediately after receiving the information, the Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station, the police and military forces of Quynh Phu commune, along with officials and fishermen of Quynh Phu commune, arrived promptly to participate in extinguishing the fire.

In response to the fire, the Fire and Rescue Police force promptly dispatched two vehicles from Firefighting Team No. 4 and one vehicle from Firefighting Team No. 9, along with officers and soldiers, to the scene.
By approximately 4:20 AM that same day, the fire was under control, and by 5:00 AM it was completely extinguished.
Authorities are currently coordinating an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
Five fishing vessels were destroyed by fire, bearing the registration numbers: NA-93311-TS, NA-80261-TS, NA-92046-TS, NA-90934-TS, and NA-80515-TS. The initial estimated total damage is approximately 6 billion VND.
