Saving a man from jumping off a bridge
(Baonghean.vn) - At around 11:55 a.m. on February 19 (the 4th day of Tet), a man suddenly climbed over the railing of Roi bridge in Tan Ky town and jumped into the river at a height of about 30m.

At that time, many people were walking on the bridge and witnessed the incident. Seeing someone jumping into the river, a group of young men ran down and swam out into the middle of the water and rescued the man and brought him to shore.
The man was brought ashore unconscious and seriously injured. Passersby performed first aid.
Through the identification papers in his pocket, the man's name was identified as Nguyen Viet L. (born in 1984, residing in Hamlet 6, Tan Huong Commune, Tan Ky).
The victim was taken to Tan Ky District Medical Center for emergency treatment.
