Woman rescued after jumping off bridge at night.
(Baonghean.vn) - A woman was fortunately rescued after jumping off a bridge on a freezing night. The incident recently occurred in Dai Dong commune, Thanh Chuong district.
According to local residents, at around 7 PM on January 1st, a woman riding a motorbike with license plate 99 H8 – 98XX arrived at Rang Bridge in Dai Dong commune, abandoned her vehicle on the bridge, and jumped into the Lam River.

Thanks to timely intervention, authorities and local residents made strenuous efforts to search for and rescue the woman on the Lam River. Around 9 PM, people discovered the woman who had jumped off the bridge drifting ashore in Thanh Linh commune, about 2km from Rang Bridge.
After bringing the victim ashore, local residents quickly lit a fire to keep the woman warm while waiting for her relatives to come and take her home.

Reportedly, the woman who jumped off the bridge and was fortunately rescued is Ms. NTH (born in 1986), the mother of three children, residing in Thuan Son commune, Do Luong district.
More than a week earlier, at Dung Bridge in Thanh Chuong district, a young man from Do Luong also jumped into the Lam River to commit suicide. Fortunately, the police and military forces of Thanh Chuong town were on patrol at the time and discovered and rescued him.
