Saving a woman who jumped off a bridge at night
(Baonghean.vn) - A woman was fortunately saved after jumping off a bridge in the cold night. The incident just happened in Dai Dong commune, Thanh Chuong district.
According to locals, at around 7:00 p.m. on January 1, a woman driving a motorbike with license plate 99 H8 – 98XX arrived at Rang bridge in Dai Dong commune, left her motorbike on the bridge, and jumped into Lam river.

Discovered in time, the authorities and local people made efforts to search and rescue on Lam River. At around 9pm, people discovered the woman had jumped off the bridge and drifted to the river bank in Thanh Linh commune, nearly 2km from Rang Bridge.
After bringing the victim to shore, local people quickly lit a fire to warm the woman, waiting for relatives to come and take her home.

It is known that the woman who jumped off the bridge and was lucky to be saved is Ms. NTH (born 1986), a mother of 3 children, residing in Thuan Son commune, Do Luong district.
More than a week earlier, at Dung bridge in Thanh Chuong district, a young man from Do Luong also jumped into Lam river to commit suicide. Fortunately, at that time, the forces, police and military of Thanh Chuong town were on patrol, discovered and saved his life.
