Former Song Lam Nghe An goalkeeper joins Quang Ninh team.
After a long period of unemployment, Ho Van Tu was recruited by Quang Ninh FC, a team in the third division.
Ho Van Tu is a product of the training academy. Lam River, Nghe AnHe was born in the same year (1995) as Hoang Van Khanh, Ho Tuan Tai, etc. However, the goalkeeper from Quynh Luu could not compete for a position with his teammates at Vinh Stadium, such as Nguyen Van Hoang and Tran Van Tien.
After his single season with the Nghe An team (in 2020), Ho Van Tu decided to join Thep Xanh Nam Dinh on a two-year contract. During his two seasons with the Nam Dinh team, Ho Van Tu only occasionally got to play.
At the end of the 2022 season, Ho Van Tu's contract with Thep Xanh Nam Dinh was not renewed due to his unrecovered injury. Despite contacting several teams, Ho Van Tu was unable to find a new club and had to make a living playing in amateur leagues with a modest income.
Therefore, being recruited by Quang Ninh FC is an incredible opportunity for Ho Van Tu to continue pursuing his passion. This is a major turning point in the football career of the former goalkeeper of Song Lam Nghe An and Thep Xanh Nam Dinh.
Currently, Quang Ninh FC has a total of four goalkeepers. Besides Ho Van Tu, there are also Thang Hop, Gia Huy, and Trung Tuyen. Objectively speaking, compared to the three mentioned above, Ho Van Tu is considered much better, at least in terms of match experience.
Hopefully, Ho Van Tu will be given a chance by coach Nguyen Van Dan, starting with the 2024/2025 National Third Division League, where Quang Ninh FC aims to secure promotion.
