Due to the team's poor performance in the V.League 2024/2025, SHB Da Nang has decided to completely change its coaching staff. This includes Nguyen Viet Nam - a former goalkeeper of Song Lam Nghe An.
Accordingly, coach Cristiano Roland has been appointed to the "head coach" position. One of the Brazilian strategist's assistants is Nguyen Viet Nam, who will serve as the goalkeeping coach. This marks the first time the former goalkeeper, born in 1983, has been part of the coaching staff of a team competing in the V.League.
During his playing career, Nguyen Viet Nam wore the jersey of... Lam River, Nghe An He played in two periods: 2003-2008 and 2012-2013. However, at Vinh Stadium, the goalkeeper from Nam Dan district's familiar position was on the substitutes' bench. The reason was none other than Nguyen Viet Nam's susceptibility to injuries. After one season playing for Lam Son Thanh Hoa (2014), Nguyen Viet Nam announced his retirement from football.
