Former SLNA midfielder on trial at Thanh Hoa
(Baonghean.vn) - Immediately after leaving Hai Phong, Vuong Quoc Trung decided to go to Thanh Hoa for a trial at the invitation of coach Nguyen Duc Thang.
According to Vuong Quoc Trung, the midfielder arrived in Thanh Hoa yesterday (June 25th). The immediate goal for the player born in 1990 is to win the trust of coach Nguyen Duc Thang to secure a place in the Thanh Hoa squad for the second half of this season.
The departure of key players like Nguyen Trong Hoang, Vu Minh Tuan, Hoang Van Binh, and Ngo Hoang Thinh at the beginning of the season has noticeably weakened Thanh Hoa's midfield. The duo of Bui Van Hieu and Nguyen Huu Dung have yet to satisfy the Thanh Hoa coaching staff.

Therefore, coach Nguyen Duc Thang hopes to add a central midfielder who is both technically skilled and experienced for the remainder of the 2019 season. Vuong Quoc Trung is a player who meets both of these criteria for the Thanh Hoa team.
Having spent seven years playing for SLNA and Hai Phong, the player born in 1990 is highly regarded in the role of a defensive midfielder. In four and a half seasons playing for the team at Lach Tray Stadium, Vuong Quoc Trung played 102 matches and scored 3 goals (only counting in the V.League).
Hopefully, with his talent and experience, Vuong Quoc Trung will successfully complete his trial period in Thanh Hoa.
