Gunfire has been heard in Venezuela's capital Caracas.
Gunfire rang out on the streets of Caracas during protests, Sputnik correspondent reported.
A day earlier, Venezuela held a presidential election; the current head of state, Nicolas Maduro, won. Then, in the capital Caracas, protests began with clashes between police and protesters.
Several shots were fired, sending people running for cover in the open streets.
