Conducted 320 monitoring activities.
In the first six months of 2019, upholding its role in uniting the entire nation, the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels continued to play a core role in disseminating information and mobilizing all strata of the people to implement the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws, as well as programs and campaigns launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Dialogue activities between Party committees, district-level and grassroots authorities with the people have received attention. In the first six months of the year, 543 dialogues were organized at the commune and hamlet/village levels, and 29 dialogues were held at the district level. The dialogues mainly focused on issues such as land management and site clearance, policies and regulations, and administrative reform.

The Fatherland Front Committees at the district and grassroots levels organized 320 monitoring sessions and 355 social feedback and criticism sessions.
Besides the achievements, the delegates focused on analyzing the shortcomings and limitations. The emulation movements initiated and led by the Fatherland Front at all levels have created dynamism and attracted the participation of many segments of the population.
However, the Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Vo Thi Minh Sinh, pointed out that the campaigns were still too general, the movements did not closely follow the results of the campaigns; they had not gathered charitable and volunteer groups, nor had they connected and assembled them into a large force for the Front; and the Front's responsibility in replicating good models and exemplary practices was still limited.
Similarly, in social monitoring and criticism, considered a "deep" area of the Fatherland Front's work, the intellectual capacity of committee members and experts in all fields has not been fully utilized. Furthermore, there is a lack of a comprehensive database of voters' opinions and suggestions, and insufficient follow-up on the responses to those suggestions from relevant levels and sectors.
Diversify information channels.
To orient the activities of the Fatherland Front in the last six months of 2019, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has set out 26 key solutions, focusing on improving the effectiveness of propaganda, mobilization, and gathering of all strata of the people; consolidating and promoting the strength of national unity; promoting democracy, representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people; social supervision and criticism, participating in building a strong Party and government; continuing to expand and improve the effectiveness and quality of people's diplomacy; perfecting mechanisms and improving the operational capacity of the Fatherland Front system to meet the requirements of the tasks in the new period.
