Changes in Germany's plans for Ukraine are clear
Germany will no longer prepare to send troops to Ukraine, Bild newspaper announced.
Trying to explain this, the newspaper said that Berlin does not trust the upcoming meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky. In addition, it is still unclear what kind of security guarantees White House owner Donald Trump can offer, the article commented.

"But even if the guns fall silent and a deal is reached between Russia and Ukraine, the German government still intends to provide security guarantees, mainly in cash. Officials doubt whether the plan to deploy Western troops will be implemented, especially after Mr. Trump refused to participate in this," the newspaper added.
The German government's stance would only change if there were some move from Mr. Trump or the conflict ended, however, at present, German authorities have not seen any signs of this possibility, the newspaper further clarified.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that France, Germany and the UK wanted to deploy their troops on the territory of Ukraine. At the same time, the White House owner promised that during his term as President, there would be no US military presence in Ukraine.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said that any scenario of NATO troops being deployed in Ukraine is completely unacceptable and risks escalating tensions.
