Found young man suspected of committing suicide by jumping off Ben Thuy bridge
(Baonghean.vn) - After 1 day of searching, the family has now received information that NVT is still alive. Currently, relatives and friends are helping T. stabilize his mental state before returning home.
According to the information we received, after leaving behind his motorbike and personal documents and jumping into the Lam River, NVT was promptly rescued by fishermen.
LikeBaonghean.vnreported that on the evening of October 30, passersby discovered a motorbike with license plate 37K1-752.91 and identification papers left on the motorbike lane onBen Thuy Bridge.
After discovering the incident, local people suspected that the victim had jumped off the bridge to commit suicide, so they reported it to the local authorities and tried to contact the victim's family. The victim was later identified as Mr. NVT (born in 1997), residing in Nghi Lien commune, Vinh city.
That same day, T.'s family and rescue forces organized a search on Lam River, below Ben Thuy Bridge.
After a day of searching, this afternoon the family received information that T. is still alive. Currently, relatives and friends are helping T. stabilize his mental state before returning home.
