The missing man has been found on the mountain.
(Baonghean.vn) - After nearly three days of searching, residents of Nam Loc commune, Nam Dan district, have found the man who went missing on the mountain while cutting rhan Ranh trees.
In recent days, since Mr. Nguyen Dinh Kiem (69 years old) from Hamlet 7, Nam Loc Commune, went missing on Khe Day mountain while cutting rhan ranh trees, local people have been tirelessly searching for him day and night.
On the night of August 27th, a resident of Nam Tan commune reported seeing Mr. Kiem asking for water, still clutching a handful of reeds in his hands. Following this resident's directions, the people of Nam Loc commune returned to the forest that same night to continue their search.

At 0:00 on August 28th, people found Mr. Kiem wandering on the mountain, in the Ba Khe dam area of Hamlet 4, Nam Loc commune (about 2 km as the crow flies from where he cut the Ranh Ranh tree).
According to local residents, after being lost in the mountains for nearly three days, Mr. Kiem was found able to walk again. After giving him milk and water and asking him questions, they took him home.

According to Mr. Nguyen Trong Duan, the head of the Nam Loc commune police, on the morning of August 28th, the commune sent officers to visit and check on Mr. Kiem's health. Mr. Kiem is still quite weak.
As reported at 11:00 AM on August 25th, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Kiem went up Khe Day mountain alone to cut down a type of tree. That afternoon, when Mr. Kiem did not return home, his family and relatives panicked and searched the forest for him.
It is known that Mr. Kiem and his wife have three children, but currently only the two of them live together. Occasionally, Mr. Kiem still goes up the mountain to cut reeds to make brooms to sell.
