Male student drowns in quarry lake in Nghe An.
(Baonghean.vn) - A 16-year-old male student drowned while swimming in Len Chua Lake (Hoang Mai town, Nghe An province).
At 7:00 AM on May 30th, the Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue Police Department of Nghe An province received a report of a drowning victim at Thanh Dong 2 sandbank, Thanh Chuong district (Nghe An).
Authorities quickly arrived at the scene and coordinated with other agencies to organize a search. The victim's body was found around 9 a.m.
The victim was initially identified as VTHG, born in 2005, residing in Thanh Dong 5 hamlet, Thanh Dong commune, a 9th-grade student at Dong Tuong Secondary School; the accident occurred at Thanh Dong 2 sandbank at 4 PM on May 29th.

Also this morning, at around 10 am, Rescue Team No. 9 found the body of a male student who had drowned in Len Chua Lake (Hoang Mai town) on the afternoon of May 29th.
