(Baonghean.vn) - Four products representing clean agricultural products, introduced by the Nghe An Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, participated in the 17th International Agricultural Exhibition organized by the Trade Promotion Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in Ho Chi Minh City.

The fair, themed "Standardized agricultural products, towards sustainable agricultural development," brought together more than 200 domestic and international businesses with approximately 300 booths, divided into three exhibition areas: a general exhibition area, an indoor booth area, and an outdoor booth area.

Each section displays scientific and technological achievements, regional agricultural specialties, high-quality and reputable agricultural products, and technologies and equipment for food preservation and processing serving modern agricultural production.

The Nghe An Department of Agriculture and Rural Development introduced four products at the fair: Nam Dan soy sauce, Hung Son tea (Anh Son), Nam Nghia pork sausage (Nam Dan), and Lan Giang turmeric starch. These are also characteristic specialties of Nghe An province, produced by reputable cooperatives and households using traditional methods.

Lan Giang turmeric starch, Nam Nghia pork sausage, Hung Son tea... are not only well-known to many customers in the province but also have many customers in other localities and abroad.

Ms. Nguyen Tu Giang, owner of Lan Giang turmeric starch production facility, shared that in order for her products to be introduced and trusted at international exhibitions, her facility must aim for cleanliness standards coupled with quality and design. The products do not use chemicals, pesticides, or preservatives from planting to milling and processing into finished turmeric starch, ensuring the best quality and safety for consumers.

In addition to the exhibition, the fair also organizes seminars on issues related to developing the country's agriculture, and brings together delegations of exemplary farmers from many provinces and cities to visit, learn, and exchange experiences.

The booths of businesses and farmers from Nghe An attracted a large number of visitors (especially those from Nghe An living away from home in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces and cities), by showcasing Hung Son green tea, Nam Nghia pork sausage, and other local specialties right at the booths. Ms. Thanh Loan (a customer from Bien Hoa) said that she had to wake up early and travel more than 40 km by motorbike to be at the fair to buy specialties from her hometown of Nghe An.

The fair will take place from September 21st to September 24th at Phu Tho Gymnasium, Ho Chi Minh City.
