Provincial People's Council representatives meet with voters in Quynh Luu district.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 5th, delegates of the 17th term of the Provincial People's Council met with voters from 17 communes and towns in Quynh Luu district at Cau Giat town.
Attendees included: Mr. Nguyen Huu Lam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department; Mr. Le Duc Cuong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office; Mr. Banh Hong Hien - Deputy Director of Nghe An Power Company; and Ms. Nguyen Luong Hong - President of the Provincial Red Cross Society.

On behalf of the provincial People's Council delegates, Mr. Le Duc Cuong reported on the results of the 5th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council, the socio-economic situation, national defense and security in 2017, and the direction, objectives, tasks, and solutions for 2018 of the province.
After hearing the report, voters expressed their satisfaction with the province's achievements in 2017 and made several suggestions.
Voter Hoang Truong Giang from Block 6, Cau Giat town, requested that the authorities promptly finalize the land use plan for the residential area formerly belonging to Quynh Luu Materials Company so that the 24 households living there can build sturdy houses.
Regarding this matter, Deputy Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Luu District, Dang Ngoc Binh, said: The district has prepared the dossier and requested the province to approve the plan. Once approved, the district will issue a decision to reclaim the land and hand it over to the town for planning as residential land in the residential area.
On behalf of the provincial People's Council delegates, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department, Nguyen Huu Lam, acknowledged the voters' opinions and stated that he would request relevant levels and sectors to consider and resolve them in the near future.
