At the conference, provincial People's Council delegates reported to voters on the planned content and program of the mid-year 2024 session of the 18th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026; a summary report on the socio-economic development, security and defense situation of Nghe An province in the first five months of 2024; and a report on the results of addressing the opinions and recommendations of voters before, during and after the 17th session of the 18th Provincial People's Council.
Twelve voters submitted their thoughts and aspirations to the provincial People's Council representatives and district and commune leaders, including: requesting support from higher authorities in providing cement for rural road construction; urging specialized agencies to review and address some shortcomings in the issuance and renewal of land use right certificates for citizens; the need for policies to encourage people to actively engage in production and reduce the abandonment of farmland; and the need for inspection and supervision of the construction quality of some projects in the area.

Voters also reported that along both sides of National Highway 48, from Km12+930 to Km13+350, there are no drainage ditches, forcing households to discharge domestic wastewater onto the road, causing environmental pollution and posing a potential risk of traffic accidents; Provincial Road 538 passing through the commune lacks drainage ditches, resulting in frequent flooding during the rainy season, affecting the lives of the people; and the electricity grid in some villages has been degraded for many years but has not yet been repaired…
The leaders of Quynh Luu district and relevant departments have responded to and explained the issues raised by voters that fall within their jurisdiction.
Mr. Ho Le Ngoc, Standing Committee member and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department, also spoke on behalf of the Provincial People's Council delegation to answer and clarify further the opinions and suggestions of voters in Quynh Tam commune.

For other opinions and suggestions, the provincial People's Council delegation will compile, categorize, and propose that the relevant agencies consider and resolve them as soon as possible.
