National Assembly delegates meet voters of Quynh Luu district

(Baonghean.vn) - Voters of Quynh Ba commune, Quynh Luu district expressed their opinions, recommendations and proposals related to various areas of social life to the National Assembly, ministries, branches and authorities at all levels.

On the afternoon of April 26, the XV National Assembly deputies (from constituency No. 3 - Nghe An) including: Mr. Pham Phu Binh - Standing member of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee, Ms. Thai Thi An Chung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Hien - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union had a meeting with voters of Quynh Ba commune, Quynh Luu district before the 5th session of the XV National Assembly.

At the meeting, on behalf of the National Assembly delegation, Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Hien - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union informed voters of the expected content and agenda of the 5th session of the 15th National Assembly and issues related to the session; announced the results of handling 8 opinions and recommendations of Quynh Luu voters under the authority of the Central agencies and the Provincial People's Committee at meetings before and after the 4th session of the 15th National Assembly.

After listening to the report, in a democratic and frank spirit, voters of Quynh Ba commune expressed their opinions, recommendations and proposals related to various areas of social life to the National Assembly, ministries, branches and authorities at all levels.

Voter Ho Trong Toan in Hamlet 3 raised a request regarding Decree 62/2011 of the Prime Minister on the regime and policies for those who participated in the war to protect the Fatherland, performed international duties in Cambodia, and helped Laos after April 30, 1975 and were demobilized. Is it still valid? If not, a definitive answer must be given and the documents returned so that people do not have to wait.

Mr. Toan reflected that after completing the map survey for 7 years, there are still many households in the locality that have not been granted land use right certificates, so he requested that superiors pay attention to directing this issue so that people can live and produce with peace of mind.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Trinh - voter of hamlet 4 stated that currently, some local war invalids have served 15-17 years on the battlefield, experiencing all kinds of hardships but receiving very little allowance. He suggested that the National Assembly give opinions to the competent authority on assessing and approving the increase of allowances or battlefield seniority or receiving pension-like benefits if qualified. This voter also suggested that there should be measures to protect aquatic resources in the fields from the risk of being increasingly destroyed.

Many voters' opinions also reflect the widespread trend of abandoned rice fields, so authorities need to have policies to support and encourage farmers to stick with their fields; it is necessary to plan high-quality rice growing areas for export, increasing economic value per unit area.

The State needs to have solutions to pay attention to building factories to produce microbial fertilizers to reduce farming costs for people at a time when chemical fertilizer prices are high; create favorable mechanisms for people to convert some areas of ineffective agricultural land to grow perennial crops.

Voters suggested that the State should pay more attention to health care for the people; organize surveys and re-evaluate the quality of life of the people in communes after reaching new rural and advanced new rural standards to propose specific and long-term solutions to this issue; propose to increase the subsidy level for martyr worshipers and the elderly.

In addition, there were also some opinions expressing concerns about issues related to the shortage of drugs in medical facilities; the handling of public assets and the arrangement of staff after the merger of administrative units...

After listening to voters' opinions, Ms. Thai Thi An Chung - Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province and representatives of departments, branches and leaders of Quynh Luu district explained issues and recommendations within their authority.

For some contents that are not under the authority of the delegates, they will fully synthesize them to submit to superiors for consideration and resolution, and promptly respond specifically to voters.
