Members of Parliament meet with voters in Nghi Loc commune.
On the afternoon of May 5th, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghi Loc commune, in coordination with the Standing Committee of the People's Council and the People's Committee of Nghi Loc commune, organized a meeting to engage with voters following the first session of the 16th National Assembly.

Attending the conference were National Assembly delegates elected in constituency No. 4, including: Major General Luong Dinh Hung – Deputy Commander of Law Enforcement of the Vietnam Coast Guard and Mr. Tran Nhat Minh – Full-time National Assembly delegate, Nghe An province delegation.
Also attending were representatives from the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; representatives from the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Office; leaders of provincial departments and agencies; leaders of the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front and mass organizations of Nghi Loc commune; delegates of the commune People's Council, term II, 2026–2031; and a large number of voters in the area.
At the conference, voters heard Major General Luong Dinh Hung inform them about the key contents and important results of the first session of the 16th National Assembly. Following that, a representative of the Fatherland Front Committee of the commune presented a summary report of opinions and recommendations from local voters to the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.
In a democratic and frank atmosphere, voters in Nghi Loc commune offered numerous opinions and suggestions focusing on areas such as: socio-economic development policies, infrastructure construction, environmental protection, and pressing local issues.

Many voters focused on the low remuneration and benefits for commune officials, civil servants, grassroots health workers, and teachers. Regarding the merger of hamlets and the reorganization of the administrative structure after the merger, they requested that the Central Government promptly issue specific guidelines to reassure the people. Concerning the Vinh Airport and the North-South High-Speed Railway projects, they requested a thorough review of compensation and land clearance procedures, ensuring fairness for the people during implementation. They also noted that the current arrangement of only one side of the Vinh bypass at Cau Chui bridge, Nghi Dien (old) area, is unreasonable and negatively impacts local traffic.
Regarding agricultural production, voters reflected on the high prices of supplies and fertilizers, which are affecting people's production. Voters also reported that some schools have limited space, and that many old government offices are surplus and should be allocated to schools to ensure more stable teaching and learning.
The opinions and suggestions of voters were discussed and clarified by representatives of relevant sectors and units, as well as National Assembly delegates, right at the conference, regarding issues within their jurisdiction. At the same time, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation also fully received and recorded all opinions to compile and report to the National Assembly and relevant agencies for consideration and resolution in the future.
Speaking at the meeting, the representative of the National Assembly delegation of Nghe An province respectfully thanked the voters for their heartfelt and responsible opinions; and at the same time hoped that voters would continue to pay attention, monitor, and contribute opinions to build an increasingly strong government that meets the trust and expectations of the people.
