Delegates attending the Nghe An Provincial Party Congress expressed their support for people affected by Typhoon No. 10.
On the afternoon of October 1st, at the preparatory session of the 20th Congress of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, delegates donated to support and assist people in areas affected by natural disasters to overcome the consequences, quickly stabilize their lives, and restore production.

In just over two months, Nghe An province has been hit by three major storms in quick succession. The Party committee, government, and people had barely recovered from the previous storm before having to endure the devastation of the next one.

"One storm after another" has made all activities of the local government and the lives of the people in the disaster-stricken areas extremely difficult.

In particular, Typhoon No. 10 at the end of September, with its strong winds, long duration, and wide area of impact, caused extremely heavy damage across all coastal, lowland, midland, and mountainous communes and wards of the province.
Tens of thousands of houses had their roofs blown off, were swept away, or collapsed; thousands of hectares of crops and fish ponds were flooded and completely destroyed; tens of thousands of livestock and poultry died en masse; many roads and bridges were severely damaged; many areas were deeply submerged in floodwaters, with preliminary estimated damages of 1,627 billion VND.
Including the three recent storms, preliminary estimates put the damage in Nghe An province at 6,970 billion VND.

Upholding the tradition of solidarity and the spirit of "mutual support and compassion" of the nation, at the preparatory session of the 20th Congress of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, delegates donated to support and assist the people in the flood-affected areas of Nghe An in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, stabilizing their lives, and restoring production.
