Delegates attending the Nghe An Provincial Party Congress support people affected by storm No. 10
On the afternoon of October 1, at the preparatory session of the 20th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, delegates donated to support and help people in disaster-affected areas overcome consequences, soon stabilize their lives, and restore production.

In just over the past 2 months, Nghe An province has been hit by 3 major storms. The Party Committee, government and people have not yet recovered from the previous storm, but have had to suffer the devastation of the next.

"Storm upon storm" has made all activities of local authorities and the lives of people in disaster areas extremely difficult.

In particular, storm No. 10 at the end of September, with strong winds, long duration of impact, and wide range of influence, caused extremely heavy damage across coastal communes and wards, plains, midlands and mountainous areas of the province.
Tens of thousands of houses had their roofs blown off, swept away, or collapsed; thousands of hectares of crops and aquaculture ponds were flooded and lost; tens of thousands of livestock and poultry died en masse; many roads and bridges were severely damaged; many areas were deeply submerged in floodwaters, with preliminary estimates of damage of 1,627 billion VND.
Including the three recent storms, the preliminary estimate of damage to Nghe An province is 6,970 billion VND.

Promoting the tradition of solidarity and the spirit of "mutual love and support" of the nation, at the preparatory session of the 20th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, delegates donated to support and help people in the flood-affected areas of Nghe An to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, soon stabilize their lives and restore production.
