Foreign Trade University has just announced the minimum admission scores for the 2025 enrollment year, applicable to both admission methods based on high school graduation exam results and admission based on a combination of international foreign language certificates.
Foreign Trade University has announced the minimum entrance score for admission based on the 2025 high school graduation exam results, applicable to regular candidates, students from specialized programs, and students who have won awards at the provincial/city level. This minimum score is calculated on a 30-point scale and includes priority points for region and category.

For the admission method combining high school graduation exam scores from 2025 and international foreign language certificates, candidates must simultaneously meet the graduation exam score requirements for each program group.

Candidates registering through this method must complete two mandatory registration steps:
- Step 1:Register on the University's Admissions Portal athttps://tuyensinh.ftu.edu.vnfromFrom July 22nd to 5:00 PM on July 28th, 2025;
- Step 2:Register on the Ministry of Education and Training's admissions portal fromFrom July 16th to 5:00 PM on July 28th, 2025.
Adjusting the score difference between different admission combinations.
Based on the score distribution of the 2025 high school graduation exam, the Foreign Trade University has adjusted the score difference between subject combinations for admission under Method 2 (admission based on the high school exam results of three subjects) as follows:
For training programs assessed on a 30-point scale, the following combinations (A01, D01, D02, D03, D04, D06, D07) will have a lower cutoff score by 1.00 point compared to the A00 combination.
For programs in Language Studies and Computer Science and Data in Economics and Business (based on a 40-point scale): No difference in scores between subject combinations applies.
This regulation is applied uniformly across all three of the school's training facilities: the main campus in Hanoi, the Ho Chi Minh City campus, and the Quang Ninh campus.
The table for converting admission scores is expected to be announced soon.
The Foreign Trade University also announced that it will publish the conversion table of equivalent scores between different admission methods and target groups before 5:00 PM on July 23, 2025. Candidates should closely monitor this information on the university's official channels to adjust their preferences in a timely and accurate manner.
