The 20th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, was a great success.

At the Congress working session, delegates elected three alternate delegates to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Next, the delegates continued to discuss and contribute ideas to the Documents of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

The presentations focused on a number of solutions to accompany and support business development, creating momentum to promote the province's economic growth.

In addition, delegates focused on discussing solutions to preserve and promote traditional values ​​and shape national cultural identity in the new era in Nghe An province; tasks and solutions to develop "green - clean - beautiful - friendly - prosperous, civilized - modern" sea tourism and become a key economic sector to create momentum for socio-economic development.

The Congress listened to a report summarizing comments on the draft documents of the 14th National Congress of the Party; a draft report summarizing a number of theoretical and practical issues on the work of socialist-oriented innovation in Vietnam over the past 40 years; a draft report summarizing 15 years of implementing the Party Charter and proposals and directions for supplementing and amending the Party Charter.

The Congress also heard a report summarizing the discussion in the Political Report, the Review Report of the 14th Executive Committee and the Draft Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress.

At the Congress, the Standing Committee members of the Provincial Party Committee, on behalf of the Presidium, presented flowers and souvenirs, respectfully acknowledging the dedication, enthusiasm, affection and responsibility of 7 comrades who were not re-elected to the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term; 12 former members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee who retired or retired before the age of 2020-2025 term; 10 former members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee who transferred to work outside the Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh emphasized that the important and comprehensive achievements in many fields during the past term had the active and responsible contributions of the comrades of the Provincial Party Executive Committee and the comrades of the Standing Committee of the 19th Provincial Party Committee.

The Congress unanimously voted to pass the Resolution and agreed with the draft Action Program to implement the Resolution of the Congress with breakthrough goals, targets and tasks, demonstrating the great determination of the Party Committee, government and people of the province before the new term, striving to make Nghe An a fairly developed province with national growth in the new era of development of the country by 2030.

In his closing speech at the Congress, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung affirmed that the success of the Congress marked an important turning point, demonstrating unity in will, consensus in action, and confidence and aspiration for new development.
