Party Congress of the Ethnic Affairs Committee for the term 2020-2025
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of May 12th, the Party Committee of the Ethnic Affairs Department held its delegate congress for the 2020-2025 term. Attending the congress was Comrade Le Thi Hong Khanh - Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc.

During the 2015-2020 term, the Party Committee focused on leading specialized agencies to maximize their functions, advising the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on leading and directing various sectors and levels to effectively implement the Party and State's ethnic policies in the province, notably: Program 135, the policy supporting migration for settled farming and residency for ethnic minorities, the policy providing direct support to people in poor households, the policy for influential figures among ethnic minorities, and the policy supporting the preservation and development of ethnic minority cultures.

The grassroots political system is increasingly strengthened; national defense and security are also consolidated and maintained, creating favorable conditions for socio-economic development and stabilizing the lives of ethnic minorities.

The Congress discussed and agreed that, for the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of the Provincial Ethnic Affairs Committee will continue to strengthen responsibility, democracy, unity, and creativity in leading the excellent completion of tasks related to ethnic affairs and ethnic policies in the new situation, and build a clean and strong Party committee.
We are determined to successfully and effectively implement the political targets and tasks set forth in the Resolution of the Party Congress of the Ethnic Affairs Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

The Congress elected five comrades to the Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term and elected a delegation to attend the higher-level Congress. Comrade Luong Thanh Hai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Head of the Provincial Ethnic Affairs Committee - was elected as the Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Ethnic Affairs Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
