During the 2020-2025 term, facing numerous difficulties and challenges, especially the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the complex developments in the global economy, strategic competition among major countries leading to the economic and energy crisis, and global climate change, the electricity sector in general and Nghe An Power Company in particular have been significantly affected. However, thanks to the close guidance and support of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Northern Power Corporation, the effective coordination of departments, agencies, and localities, and the collective efforts of cadres, Party members, and employees with a spirit of unity and innovation, Nghe An Power Company has overcome difficulties and successfully implemented the goals and tasks set forth in the Resolution of the Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.

During the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of Nghe An Power Company focused on comprehensively leading and directing all aspects of its work, basically completing the key tasks and breakthroughs set forth, making an important contribution to the success of production and business tasks. It ensured safe, continuous, and stable electricity supply to serve socio-economic development, security, and national defense in the area, as well as meeting urgent load demands as assigned by the province. It excellently fulfilled the production and business targets and tasks assigned annually by the Northern Power Corporation. It effectively implemented corporate culture, combined with promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style. It improved management capacity; promoted research and leveraged internal strengths through initiatives, application of information technology, advanced science and technology, and the achievements of the 4.0 industrial revolution in production and business activities. Promoting democracy at the grassroots level ensures the effective implementation of assigned production and business tasks. Actively and effectively participates in activities of gratitude, humanitarian aid, and charity. Party building work is strengthened, further consolidated and promoted, and the Trade Union and Youth Union have achieved the title of Outstanding and Exemplary for many consecutive years.

To further clarify the achievements and limitations that need to be overcome during the 2020-2025 term, and to guide the Party Committee's activities for the 2025-2030 term, many presentations at the Congress made significant contributions in a focused, democratic, and intellectual spirit, with the goal of developing the Party Committee.

For the 2025-2030 term, the Party Committee of Nghe An Power Company will strive and be determined to build a strong and comprehensive Party Committee; continue to promote the spirit of unity, maintain the title of outstanding Party Committee with exemplary performance, and build the Company into the top group of the Northern Power Corporation; maintain the retail electricity market; continue to upgrade customer services; develop power grid infrastructure to ensure stable and safe power supply for customers, especially industrial zones and clusters. Simultaneously, it will promote the modernization and automation of the power grid; implement comprehensive digitalization of production and business activities, research and apply artificial intelligence; ensure employment and improve the living standards of employees; fulfill all obligations to the State; and actively participate in social welfare activities.

Focus on improving the organizational structure and enhancing leadership effectiveness and professional efficiency.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Phung Thanh Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province - acknowledged and praised the efforts and achievements of the Nghe An Power Company during the past term. In particular, he highlighted the synchronous and effective implementation of Party building and the political system; the safe and stable operation of the power system, ensuring electricity supply for socio-economic development and the daily lives of the people in the province, and contributing significantly to Nghe An province's achievement of being among the top 10 in attracting FDI nationwide for three consecutive years. He affirmed that this success is a testament to the correct leadership of the Party Committee, the decisive management of the Board of Directors, and the spirit of unity and high responsibility of all cadres, Party members, and employees.

Looking ahead, Comrade Phung Thanh Vinh noted that the implementation of the Central and provincial strategic resolutions, especially the transition to a two-tiered local government model, will create significant pressure, requiring fundamental changes in thinking and working methods. To successfully fulfill its role and responsibilities, the Nghe An Power Company Party Committee is urged to focus on consolidating its organizational structure, enhancing leadership effectiveness, and promptly developing a specific action plan, clearly assigning responsibilities to each Party committee and individual. The Congress Resolution must be put into practice quickly through decisive actions, creating immediate changes from the first year of the term.

The Congress also announced the decision of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the People's Committee of Nghe An province appointing the Standing Committee and Executive Committee of the Party Committee of Nghe An Power Company, 31st term, consisting of 14 members, and appointing the delegation to attend the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the People's Committee of Nghe An province for the 2025-2030 term.
