The Party Congress of Mau Duc Commune (Con Cuong District) for the term 2020 - 2025

During the 2015-2020 term, the Party Committee and people of Mau Duc commune united, acted proactively and creatively in leading, directing, and implementing comprehensive solutions for socio-economic development, achieving quite comprehensively the goals set forth in the congress resolution.

From 2015 to the present, the Party Committee and People's Committee of the commune have issued numerous resolutions, projects, plans, and leadership and guidance documents aimed at restructuring agriculture, promoting the application of science and technology in production, transforming the crop structure; and developing industry, handicrafts, services, and trade.

The average economic growth rate over the past five years reached 7.8%, exceeding the planned target by 9.2%. Average per capita income reached nearly 16 million VND/year, a 5.1% increase compared to the same period. The poverty rate, which was 34.2% at the beginning of the term, decreased to only 20.0% at the end of the term, a 14.2% reduction compared to the same period.

Cultural, health, education, and social welfare fields have been given due attention and effectively implemented; national defense and security have been ensured, and Party building and the political system have been strengthened. Annual assessments show that 100% of subordinate Party branches achieved the "clean, strong, and fulfilling their tasks" rating or higher; and 95.3% of Party members successfully completed their tasks.

In a democratic and frank spirit, the congress focused on discussing and contributing ideas, identifying shortcomings and their causes, and drawing lessons from the previous term to successfully implement the Resolution of the 22nd Party Congress of the commune, term 2020-2025.

With the motto: Unity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation, the Party Committee of Mau Duc commune continues to lead economic development, improve the lives of the people, and bring the commune to sustainable and comprehensive development; in which, striving to achieve an average per capita income of over 32 million VND/year, and reducing the poverty rate by 3-4% annually. During the term, 40-60 new Party members will be admitted.

Speaking at the congress, Comrade Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Con Cuong District Party Committee - acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Party Committee and people of Mau Duc commune, and emphasized: In the 2020-2025 term, the locality will make good use of its advantages to develop socio-economic aspects and improve the lives of the people. The new Executive Committee is responsible for concretizing the Congress Resolution, building an action program, plan, and roadmap for implementing the resolution; and at the same time, taking measures to widely disseminate and thoroughly explain the resolution to create consensus, trust, and support from cadres, Party members, and the people.

The Congress elected 14 comrades to the Executive Committee of the Commune Party Committee, 22nd term, 2020-2025; and elected a delegation to attend the 27th Congress of the Con Cuong District Party Committee, 2020-2025 term, with 11 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates.
