Nghia Dong Commune Party Congress: Identifying 3 breakthrough areas.
On February 19th, the Party Committee of Nghia Dong commune held its 23rd Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term. This unit was selected by the Standing Committee of the Tan Ky District Party Committee as a model for the congress.
Attending the congress were Comrade Hoang Danh Lai - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Department; leaders of the District Party Committee, the District People's Committee, and departments and offices of Tan Ky district.
The Nghia Dong commune Party Committee currently has 17 subordinate branches with a total of 430 Party members. During the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee achieved and exceeded 30 out of 30 key targets in various fields.
Some key achievements during the past term include: The average economic growth rate for the period 2020-2024 was 9.86%, reaching 100% of the target set in the Congress Resolution. Total production value reached over 481 billion VND (exceeding the target set in the Congress Resolution by 100.9%). Average per capita income reached 61.5 million VND/year, an increase of 19.2 million VND compared to the beginning of the term.

The 23rd Congress, for the term 2025-2030, is a congress of "Unity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development," reflecting the will and aspirations of the cadres, Party members, and people of the commune.The Congress calls upon the entire Party and all the people to uphold the heroic traditions of their homeland, unite, and resolutely overcome difficulties and challenges, seize opportunities, and successfully achieve the goals and tasks set forth by the 23rd Party Congress of the commune. The goal is to successfully build a model new rural commune during this term.
The Party Committee of Nghia Dong commune has identified three breakthroughs: Focusing on accelerating and strengthening administrative reform in the 2025-2030 period; Promoting the construction of rural infrastructure to boost rapid and sustainable socio-economic development in the area; and Focusing on developing agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, applying science and technology to production and livestock farming.
Speaking at the congress, Comrade Phan Van Giap - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the Tan Ky District People's Committee - praised the achievements of the Nghia Dong Commune Party Committee during the past term. At the congress, 14 comrades were elected to the new Executive Committee of the Nghia Dong Commune Party Committee; and a delegation of 12 official delegates was elected to attend the higher-level congress.
