First Congress of the Nghe An Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 28th, the first Congress of the Nghe An Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association, for the term 2018-2023, was held in Vinh City. Attending the event were: Ms. Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Minh - President of the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council; leaders of various departments and agencies in the province; and 300 female entrepreneurs and businesses from across the province.

With the attention and guidance of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, relevant levels and sectors, and with the efforts of women entrepreneurs in Nghe An province, the Steering Committee for the establishment of the Nghe An Women Entrepreneurs Association has actively participated in preparing for the first Congress, term 2018 - 2023.

The Nghe An Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association is a professional social organization established and operating on the principles of voluntariness and equality among female entrepreneurs from various economic sectors legally operating in Nghe An province. The Association's purpose is to unite and bring together female entrepreneurs in many industries to share, collaborate, and strive for the development of its members, ensuring lawful production and business activities, and contributing to improving the capacity of each business led by women.

This contributes to affirming the role of female entrepreneurs in the business community and in the socio-economic development of the province and the country, striving for the development and equality of women in the era of economic integration and development 4.0.
At the Congress, the Decision to establish the Nghe An Women Entrepreneurs Association was announced, the draft charter and operational guidelines for the first term were approved, and the Executive Committee was introduced and the President and Vice Presidents of the Association were elected.

Speaking at the Congress, comrades Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and Nguyen Thi Tuyet Minh - President of the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council, acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of women entrepreneurs in Nghe An province in promoting production and business, making important contributions to socio-economic development and social welfare activities... They also emphasized that the Women Entrepreneurs Association needs to unite, support, and promote the talents, intelligence, roles, and contributions of women entrepreneurs and businesses for the socio-economic development of the locality; and protect the legitimate rights and interests of women entrepreneurs...

Furthermore, the Association needs to effectively play its role as a bridge between businesses and the government... In the coming time, the provincial government at all levels will always stand alongside the business community to resolve difficulties and obstacles, train human resources, build infrastructure serving production and business, and commit to creating the most favorable conditions within the legal framework for women-owned businesses to develop. This will create increasingly equal opportunities for female entrepreneurs and enable them to contribute more to socio-economic development.
