The first tattoo convention in Vietnam

This is the first time in Vietnam that an international event on tattooing has been held, with the aim of bringing the art of tattooing "into the light", helping the public better understand this art form which has been prejudiced as belonging to the "underground world" for a long time.

International Tattoo Convention 2016, an international tattoo art exchange program, will be held for the first time in Hanoi on June 23 and 24, 2016 at Quan Ngua Sports Palace.

The congress will be a gathering place for leading tattoo artists in Vietnam and the world with activities to honor the art of tattooing. This is the first time in Vietnam that an international event on tattooing has been held, with the aim of bringing the art of tattooing "to the light", helping the public better understand this art form that has been prejudiced in the "underground world" for a long time.

Tattoo artists in Vietnam want the public to have a correct view of this art.

At this Congress, the names of the world tattoo village will participate such as the Head of the jury, Mr. Diau An Master, a master of international tattoo art with 35 years of experience, and nearly one hundred famous names from China and Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Germany, the Netherlands, Malaysia, the Philippines...

The artists will have beautiful tattoo performances in many genres, black and white and color schools. The Queen of Tattoo award worth 50 million VND will be given to the female artist with the most impressive tattoo.

The convention is not only a playground for tattoo artists but also a destination for tattoo lovers nationwide. The activities of meeting and interacting with artists through minigames throughout the program and more than a hundred booths providing tattoo services will bring a very new experience to viewers. Here, viewers have the opportunity to own high-class tattoos and many attractive gifts.

Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, one of the judges of the tattoo contest at this Congress and also a famous tattoo artist in Vietnam, shared: "The time when people with tattoos were criticized by society is over. People now have a fairer opinion about the art of tattooing.

Young people are freer and express themselves more through tattoos on their bodies. But above all, we want to bring knowledge about tattoos, modern and safe tattoo technology, so that anyone can feel secure when coming to this subject, so that this subject is not just a temporary fad for young people."

The international tattoo convention will be held in Hanoi on June 23-24.
