Previously, the President of the PhilippinesManila is interested in buying guns, high-precision missiles, helicopters and planes from Russia, he said in an interview with Russian media.
According to Rosoboronexport Director General Aleksandr Mikheev, at the end of May this year there were no negotiations on arms contracts between Moscow and Manila.
"We are now conducting specific negotiations on weapons. We want to have guns for our internal security needs. Today we are discussing weapons for counter-terrorism security. We think we can come to a beneficial agreement with Russia," - Ambassador Sorreta said.
