Accordingly, this morning (May 8th), after the third scheduled interview, the US Embassy agreed to grant visas to student Mai Nhat Anh and teacher Mai Van Quyen to participate in the International Science and Engineering Fair in the US.

Over the phone, teacher Mai Van Quyen expressed his gratitude to the authorities and media outlets for their active support in facilitating the visa application process for the teachers and students of the school.

Previously, after winning first prize and being selected to participate in the International Science and Engineering Fair in the US, the delegation of students from Nghe An, including their supervising teacher and one student involved in the project, were denied visas to the US.

Currently, immediately after receiving the interview results and visa approval, the teacher and students have returned to Nghe An to prepare the necessary conditions to continue their journey to Hanoi tomorrow morning (May 9th). The Ministry of Education has requested the US Embassy to assist with visa applications for students from Nghe An province.

Mai Nhat Anh and Phung Van Long's project is based on the method of evaporation and condensation of liquids. Using wave energy to operate a pressure-reducing pump system, they lower the boiling point of seawater, creating a larger volume of steam and increasing the machine's efficiency.
