(Baonghean.vn) - After three visa applications, this morning (May 8), the US Embassy agreed to grant visas to teachers and students of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted to attend the international science and technology competition.

This information has just been reported by teacher Mai Van Quyen - teacher and direct instructor of the project "System of distilling salt water into fresh water with vacuum technique using hydraulic pump by wave energy" from Hanoi.

Accordingly, this morning (May 8), after the third interview appointment, the US Embassy agreed to grant visas to student Mai Nhat Anh and teacher Mai Van Quyen to attend the International Science and Technology Competition in the US.

Over the phone, teacher Mai Van Quyen expressed his gratitude to the authorities and the press agencies for actively supporting teachers and students of the school in the past time to facilitate visa application.

US Embassy schedules 3rd visa interview for Nghe An student

(Baonghean.vn) - After many efforts, today (May 4), the US Embassy has issued a third interview appointment for the delegation of teachers and students from Nghe An participating in the International Science and Technology Competition in the US.

Project“Saltwater distillation system into fresh water with vacuum technology using hydraulic pump by ocean wave energy”is an idea that comes from the reality of the lack of fresh water on some islands and archipelagos. Right in Nghe An, many fishermen who go to sea to exploit seafood for a long time also have to bring fresh water from the mainland, and have to return when the water reserve runs out.

Mai Nhat Anh and Phung Van Long's project is based on the method of evaporation and condensation of liquids. Using the energy of ocean waves to operate the pressure reduction pump system, thereby reducing the boiling temperature of seawater, helping to create a larger amount of steam, increasing the productivity of the machine.
