Colonel Dinh Bat Van inspects election preparations in 9 communes.
On the morning of January 28th, Colonel Dinh Bat Van - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, and Head of Election Inspection Team No. 6 - inspected the preparations for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and deputies to the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term in 9 communes in the western part of the province, including Chau Tien, Tien Phong, Que Phong, Thong Thu, Muong Quang, Tri Le, Nhon Mai, Huu Khuong, and Yen Na.
The inspection revealed that localities have seriously implemented the Politburo's Directive, along with the guiding documents from the National Assembly Standing Committee, the National Election Council, the Government, ministries, and the province.

The establishment of election-related organizations was carried out in accordance with legal regulations, ensuring the progress, composition, and number of members as stipulated by law.
The communes have successfully organized the first consultative conference, agreeing on the structure, composition, and number of representatives for the commune-level People's Council. Simultaneously, they have issued guidelines for preparing candidacy documents, announced the time and location for receiving applications, and are currently receiving applications from candidates in accordance with regulations.
The announcement of the number of electoral units, the number of representatives to be elected in each unit, and the establishment of the Election Committees for the People's Council of the commune were also fully implemented.
In addition, information dissemination, public awareness campaigns, ensuring security and social order, and preparing the necessary infrastructure for the election were implemented synchronously. Local authorities also focused on ensuring security and safety in cyberspace, strengthening monitoring and information gathering on social media platforms to promptly handle any emerging situations.

Speaking at the inspection, Colonel Dinh Bat Van, Head of Inspection Team No. 6, highly appreciated the proactive, serious, and responsible spirit of the localities in implementing the election work.
At the same time, it is requested that the commune election committees closely coordinate with relevant departments and agencies to continue reviewing and compiling voter lists, especially for special voters.
Thorough preparations should be made for the second and third consultative conferences, and efforts should be intensified to disseminate information and refute false and distorted information about the election. In addition, security and order must be ensured, and all necessary conditions and plans must be in place to ensure the election is conducted safely, legally, and with the highest possible voter turnout.
