Swiss intelligence colonel: Russia has successfully demilitarized Ukraine.
Former Swiss intelligence officer, Colonel Jacques Beau, stated that Russia's primary goal is the demilitarization of Ukraine, not control of its territories.

According to RT on May 28, former Swiss intelligence officer, Colonel Jacques Beau, stated that Russia's primary objective from the beginning of the conflict, and continuing to this day, is the demilitarization of Ukraine. This involves not only expanding the buffer zone by hundreds of kilometers, but also eliminating Ukrainian forces in those territories. "That's what we're witnessing," Colonel Beau said.
According to a former Swiss intelligence officer, the Russian army could very quickly advance and take control of the empty areas behind Ukraine's defensive lines. However, that is not Russia's objective.
Colonel Beau argues that, for this reason, the Western strategy, which is trying to expand and escalate the conflict, is in fact creating an opportunity for the Russian military to wear down Ukrainian forces.
Colonel Beau noted that Ukraine's opportunities are increasingly limited. "Recently, a new mobilization law came into effect, meaning Ukraine's human resources are gradually running out. At some point, they may start withdrawing people from factories, universities, etc. This is one of the consequences of lowering the conscription age," Colonel Beau stated.
A former Swiss intelligence officer argues that Ukraine's future is threatened, and this is precisely why the West's strategy is not to help Ukraine, but to force Russia to continue fighting.
