Swiss Intelligence Colonel: Russia Successfully Demilitarized Ukraine
Former Swiss intelligence officer Colonel Jacques Beau said that Russia's main goal is to demilitarize Ukraine, not to control territories.

According to RT on May 28, former Swiss intelligence officer Colonel Jacques Beau said that Russia's main goal from the beginning of the conflict and to this day is to demilitarize Ukraine. This is not only to expand the buffer zone by hundreds of kilometers, but also to destroy Ukrainian forces on these territories. "That is what we are witnessing," Colonel Beau said.
According to the former Swiss intelligence officer, the Russian army could very quickly advance and take control of open areas behind Ukraine's defenses. However, that is not Russia's goal.
For this reason, Colonel Beau believes, the Western strategy, which is trying to expand and escalate the conflict, is actually creating an opportunity for the Russian military to exhaust the Ukrainian forces.
Colonel Beau said that Ukraine's opportunities are getting narrower. "Recently, the new mobilization law has come into effect, which means that Ukraine's human resources are gradually depleted, and at some point, they may start to take people out of factories, universities... This is one of the consequences of lowering the military age," said Colonel Beau.
The former Swiss intelligence officer believes that Ukraine's future is at stake, and this very reason shows that the West's strategy is not to help Ukraine, but to force Russia to continue fighting./.
