Sentenced to 12 months in prison for "Gambling", Ms. PTX (born in 1985), residing in Quan Bau, Vinh City, had mixed feelings when celebrating Tet for the first time at the Detention Center, away from her husband and her 3-year-old child. "This is the first time celebrating Tet away from her family, so she misses home very much, but thanks to the care of the staff as well as the preparation of Tet activities similar to when at home, it feels much warmer", Ms. X. shared.

With ingredients that are all the fruits of labor during the execution of their sentences, the prisoners prepared a meal with many dishes with the typical flavors of the traditional Tet holiday, including banh chung, boiled chicken, pickled vegetables, bone soup with vegetables and fruits, etc.
The meal was carefully prepared by the prisoners of the Kitchen Team with the hope that everyone would enjoy a warm and full Tet atmosphere.
