Le Cong Tam, the head of the Xuan Duong commune police (Thuong Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province), provided information this afternoon regarding a murder case that resulted in one death.
At around 10 PM last night, a conflict occurred between a husband and wife at the home of Mr. Le Van Chien (born in 1993), residing in Xuan Thinh village.
Chiến stabbed his wife, LTH (born in 1994), once with a knife, killing her instantly. After committing the crime, Chiến fled the area.
According to the victim's family, Chiến and his wife had been married for five years and had two children (aged 5 and 3). The couple worked in Hanoi and had only returned home yesterday when the incident occurred tonight.
The initial assessment suggests the cause was jealousy. The husband believed his wife was having an affair and stabbed her to death.
The police are currently searching for the suspect, Chien, to investigate and clarify the case.
